My approach to your wedding story
My clients are adventurous beings. They aren’t afraid to get their shoes dirty and they aren’t afraid to go against the unwritten rules of a wedding day. For my clients, wedding photography is one of the highest priorities on their day.
I’m a storyteller and adventurous one at that. I place an emphasis on real moments and emotion and love using the Newfoundland landscape as our backdrop. While planning your wedding, I have tons of information on getting the best images, my favorite locations, where to go if it rains, timeline tips, worksheets, vendor recommendations and more!
I approach every wedding with the goal of telling the story of your day. I accomplish this with a photojournalistic and documentary based style, focusing more on candid moments, rather than a series of staged and posed photos. And while I do pose my couples, I never want posing to detract from the day. I view myself as a guest at your wedding and I treat that with the utmost respect.
I’m excited to work with couples from all walks who have a passion for life and each other. I’ve learned a lot since starting out in 2011 and I know that my look isn’t for every couple out there. However, if you’re looking for an exciting, memorable day with uniquely personal photos that stand the test of time, I’d love to travel that wildly fun and creative path with you.
The images created on your wedding will be the lasting, visual memories… Treasures to be poured over for the rest of your lives… Make sure whoever you hire (even if it isn’t me!), sparks your soul when you view their work! When you look at your photos, I want you to be as thrilled as the couples below!
