MY APPROACH
I approach every wedding with the goal of telling the story of your day. I accomplish this with a photojournalistic and documentary based style, focusing more on candid moments, rather than a series of staged and posed photos. And while I do pose my couples, I never want posing to detract from the day. I view myself as a guest at your wedding and I treat that with the utmost respect.
My editing style, as you can gather from the images here, is colorful, clear, and timeless. I don’t want my wedding images to look dated in 5-10 years because I picked a trendy editing style at the time. I strongly believe the best way to gauge a photographer’s style is to check out their previous work; not just a series of best-of images, but a solid body of work from multiple weddings. You can check out tons of weddings (in addition to engagement/family/modeling/grad/etc sessions) here www.zachwheeler.ca/featured-work
And as you can probably tell from looking through the website, I love to post images of our clients on my Featured Work page, and Facebook & Instagram accounts. If you don’t want your images posted online, I do offer a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for an additional fee or would be more than happy to suggest another photographer.
