Crystal and Paul were married on this special summer’s day at Lester’s Farm in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Although understandably excited, they somehow managed to project a “calm, cool and collected vibe”, which set the tone for a relaxing day for everyone.
We began the afternoon at historic Quidi Vidi, capturing the couple’s first look (rapturous!) and the pride evident in the faces of each and every family member. From there, it was on to Lester’s Farm: a perfect venue for Crystal and Paul to take their solemn vows.
It was our first time photographing a Lester’s Farm wedding there and hopefully it won’t be our last. The grounds at Lester’s were fantastically maintained; Allie commented that it looked like a scene out of a movie. In fact, everything was top-notch, including the lemonade which was the best we’ve ever tasted!
We also can’t say enough about the staff, especially Farmer Jim who kindly gave Crystal, Paul and ourselves a nice tour the farm and provided some background history of the area.
Crystal and Paul couldn’t have asked for much more to make their day complete- except maybe having their treasured dog Sadie join them at the farm.
At the reception, the speeches and toasts had us laughing and it was obvious this special couple is embraced by a wide circle of friends and family who care for them deeply.
Thank you for such a great day. We truly enjoyed getting to know you both and your wonderful families. We hope we have captured special moments that you will cherish for a lifetime. Much happiness to you both.
